About ULTIMATE Podgorica City Guide
ULTIMATE Podgorica City Guide is an independent guide for visitors to Podgorica, Montenegro. We publish 13 curated lists: restaurants, cafés, bars, nightlife, hotels, sights, culture, parks & rivers, walks, shopping, getting around, property and health. Together they cover the centre and Stara Varoš, City Kvart and the west bank, the rivers and hills of the city, and Montenegro beyond: Kotor, Lake Skadar, Cetinje and Lovćen.
Our editor
Jai Michael is Editor-in-Chief of the ULTIMATE City Guides. With more than 25 years in the media industry, he founded ABSOLUTE brighton and London TV, and has worked with leading luxury brands around the world.
How we choose
Our lists draw on respected guides, local knowledge and recent reviews. We look for quality, character and a genuine sense of Montenegro, from konobas and lake fish to café terraces, craft beer and vranac.
Before you go
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change often, especially on the coast and in the mountains. Please check directly with each venue before you visit. Montenegro uses the euro; our price guides run from € (budget) to €€€€ (special occasion).
For venues
Run a venue in Podgorica and spotted something to update? We review our lists regularly and welcome corrections.
