About Titograd ’80 Museum
Titograd ’80 is dedicated to everyday life in Podgorica in the 1980s, when the city was called Titograd. In a real apartment in the centre, an authentic period home has been rebuilt with original furniture, appliances, televisions, radios, telephones, dishes, magazines and vinyl. Nothing is behind glass: you can open cupboards and drawers and use some of the objects, and through design, music, print and fashion it tells the wider Yugoslav story of the decade. Our advice: wonderfully nostalgic for anyone who remembers the era, and fascinating for anyone who doesn’t.
