About Haj-Nehaj fortress
The remains of Nehaj, built by the Venetians for defence in the 15th century and first mentioned in 1542, crown an inaccessible hill above the sea at 225 metres, about 10 km north-west of Bar. Our advice: climb up late in the afternoon for the light over the coast.
