King Nikola’s Palace, Bar

About King Nikola’s Palace, Bar
King Nikola built this palace on the shore in 1885 for his daughter Princess Zorka and Prince Petar Karađorđević: a large and a small palace, a chapel, a watchtower, a winter garden and, from 1910, a ballroom. It is now the Homeland Museum, with the area’s key archaeological finds, original rooms and a garden of trees planted in the king’s time. Our advice: walk the garden after the museum.
