About Lovćen National Park
Lovćen National Park covers 6,220 hectares between 939 and 1,749 metres, its highest peaks Štirovnik (1,749 m) and Jezerski vrh (1,657 m), where Njegoš lies in his mausoleum. A national park since 1952, it is, in the tourist board’s words, the heart of Montenegro’s identity, with hiking and biking trails and a zipline. Our advice: drive up from Cetinje, or come by the Kotor Cable Car.
