About Perast & Our Lady of the Rocks
Perast is a small baroque town of palaces and bell towers on the bay. Boats from its waterfront take you to Our Lady of the Rocks, a church on an islet built up, according to tradition, by sailors dropping stones into the sea. Every July, the custom of fašinada, sailing out to add stones, is still kept.
