About Marko Miljanov Museum

The Marko Miljanov Museum opened in 1971 in the birthplace of the celebrated Montenegrin duke and writer, at the foot of Medun, one of the oldest settlements in this part of the Balkans. It shows photographs of his life, his clothing, weapons and jewellery, manuscripts and editions of his works, and a library of more than 6,000 books, with an audio guide in Montenegrin and English. Our advice: walk up to the Medun ruins for the view, then visit a winery in nearby Ublje.
