Ostrog is about 50 km from Podgorica, roughly an hour by car via Danilovgrad, with a narrow, winding road for the final climb. Many tours from Podgorica and the coast include it. Trains on the Nikšić line stop at Ostrog station, but it is a long, steep climb from there, so most visitors drive or take a taxi.
