Road, bus or air
About Getting to Tivat
By car, the road from Podgorica runs via Cetinje and Budva, or through Kotor, and takes about an hour and a half outside summer traffic. Buses run from Podgorica bus station. Tivat Airport, run by Airports of Montenegro, is on the edge of town, and the Kamenari–Lepetane car ferry links Tivat with the Herceg Novi side of the bay. Our advice: in July and August, travel early in the morning.
