About Old Olive Tree (Stara maslina)
The Old Olive Tree stands at Mirovica, five kilometres from Bar on the road to Ulcinj. The Tourist Organisation of Bar calls it Europe’s oldest tree, more than 2,242 years old, with a trunk ten metres across, and it has been protected by law since 1963. Legend says feuding families gathered under it to make peace. Our advice: a five-minute stop you will remember.
