About Training ship Jadran
The training ship Jadran took two years to build in Hamburg and arrived in Tivat with great ceremony in 1933. In the Second World War she sailed for the Italian navy as Marco Polo, but she always came back; generations of naval cadets have learned their craft aboard, hauling more than 11 km of rigging by hand. Our advice: see her at the quay from the Pine promenade.
